Betsy Ribble Pine has an extensive work experience history. Betsy began their career as an English Teacher at Karinthy Frigyes Gimnazium School in 2009. Betsy then worked as a Program Intern at Cool Culture in 2010 and as a Web Intern at PEN American Center from May 2011 to October 2011. Betsy also worked as a Tutor at Pinnacle Prep from November 2010 to November 2011. In 2011, they joined The Center to Prevent Youth Violence as a Program Associate. Betsy then transitioned to Change.org, where they held multiple roles including Communications Assistant from May 2012 to September 2013, Global Communications Coordinator from September 2013 to May 2014, Communications Strategy Manager from May 2014 to August 2014, and Policy Analyst from September 2014 to August 2015. After their time at Change.org, Betsy joined the New York City Council as a Summer Fellow for Participatory Budgeting from June 2016 to August 2016. Betsy then joined the Obama Foundation and worked as a Senior Associate for Fellowship Programs from July 2017 to December 2018, and later as a Manager for the Fellows Team from January 2019 to April 2021. Betsy took on the role of Global Program & Learning Design Manager from April 2021 to December 2021 before becoming the Director of Learning Design from 2021 to 2023. Their current role is the Director of Strategic Learning at the Obama Foundation, which they have held since September 2023.

Betsy Ribble Pine earned a Bachelor's degree in English from Williams College in 2009. Betsy then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, completing their education in 2017.
