Nancy Darling

Nancy Darling is the founder of 1step2life Ltd, where the focus is on developing a high-quality, research-based app aimed at assisting adolescents suffering from chronic pain. In addition to this entrepreneurial venture, Nancy has been a Professor of Psychology at Oberlin College since 2005, specializing in statistical methods, adolescent development, and computational modeling. Ongoing research includes studies on adolescent chronic pain, beliefs regarding medical authority, and cross-cultural parenting. Nancy also holds prominent editorial positions at the Journal of Adolescence. Previous academic roles include Associate Professor at Bard College and Assistant Professor at Penn State University and Dickinson College. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University and postdoctoral studies in Psychology at Temple University.
