Avner Shier

Avner Shier has held various roles in the finance and data industries since 2013. In 2013, they were a Broker at Shkedy Capital Markets. In 2014, they were a Financial Consultant at Supervisor, where they analyzed financial reports, prepared detailed business plans, and represented SMB's searching for funding. From 2015 to 2020, Avner held various roles at EL AL Israel Airlines, including Senior Business Analyst, Senior Financial Business Partner & FP&A, and Financial Planning Analyst. In 2020, they were a Senior FP&A, Business Analyst & SaaS Financial Consultant at Nextage, where they turned business ideas into powerful business plans and defined startups SaaS KPIs that support growth, sales efficiency, customer success & Profitability. In 2021, Avner was the Director of Finance & Data at &frnds, where they were in charge of building a data-driven organization, implemented a full DWH and BI solution, and managed company finance & working processes. Currently, Avner is the Head of Data at Obligo.

Avner Shier obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics & Business Management from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo between 2011 and 2014. Avner then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Funding from Bar-Ilan University between 2016 and 2018.
