Anna Stepanyan Ben Avi

Anna Stepanyan Ben Avi has seven years of professional experience in the finance and accounting field. In 2014, they began their career as an intern at Barlev Investigative Auditing. In 2016, they joined EY as a CPA, where they conducted audits and reviewed yearly and quarterly financial statements of public companies listed on NASDAQ in accordance with the US GAAP. Anna also conducted audits for start-up companies in accordance with the US GAAP and Israeli GAAP, handled Israeli tax compliance and reporting, and accompanied and audited companies supported by the Israeli OCS. In 2017, Anna Stepanyan Ben Avi began working with Proximo as a Finance Manager, Controller & FP&A. In this role, they managed monthly and quarterly financial closing processes, managed cash flow on a monthly basis to maximize return and limit risk, prepared yearly budgets, analyzed monthly budget vs actual and reported to CEO's, prepared annual audited financial statements (US GAAP, IFRS), managed bookkeeping and payroll and supported day-to-day finance operations, and developed, implemented, and maintained key financial policies and procedures. In 2018, they took on two additional roles with Proximo: Head of Finance at Trusstor and Corporate Controller at Bigabid. In 2022, they will join Obligo as a Controller.

Anna Stepanyan Ben Avi earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from The College of Management Academic Studies between 2011 and 2015.
