Stephen Marriott

Stephen Marriott has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and information technology. Stephen most recently worked at Obrela Security Industries as the Director of MSS Middle East. Prior to that, they were the Delivery Head MSSP at Atos, where they led three Security Operation Centres teams and provided managed security services to clients in various industries. Before that, they served as the Information Security Consultant at Al-Futtaim, where they headed the CyberSecurity Defence and Security Operations Centre.

Stephen also gained valuable experience at Emirates Group, where they held the positions of Technical Product Manager and Senior Business Analyst. In these roles, they led cybersecurity technical product owners, developed strategy, and worked closely with the Cybersecurity Operations Centre. Stephen was responsible for delivering security products and technical controls to meet business and regulatory requirements.

Before joining Emirates Group, Stephen worked as a Senior Business Analyst at dnata and Emirates Group IT, providing business solution design for IT, safety, and security. Prior to that, they served as a Solutions Architect at Mibtree Ltd and provided technical pre-sales, design, and on-site consultancy to customers. Stephen also worked as a Principal Consultant at Innovise ESM (Africa) Pty, Innovise International, Innovise plc, and Abilitec Ltd, where they undertook various responsibilities related to system architecture, design, sales support, and consultancy.

Throughout their career, Stephen has demonstrated proficiency in leading teams, delivering high-quality services, and meeting industry standards. Stephen possesses expertise in cybersecurity, technical project management, business analysis, and solution design.

Stephen Marriott completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Bedfordshire from 1992 to 1995. Additionally, they obtained various certifications related to IBM products and services from different institutions such as IBM and Q1 Labs (IBM Security) between 2005 and 2014. Some of the certifications include IBM Tivoli Automation Sales Mastery Test v4 (2014), IBM QRadar Technical Sales Mastery Test v1 (2012), and IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus V7.3 (2012), among others.
