J. Isaac Godfroy

J. Isaac Godfroy has a diverse work experience. J. Isaac is currently working as a Principal Scientist in Process Development at Obsidian Therapeutics since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Athersys from 2018 to 2022, where they held roles as an Engineering Manager and Senior/Process Engineer. Before joining Athersys, they worked as a Scientist in Cell Culture at Medical Science & Computing (MSC) from 2017 to 2018. J. Isaac also has experience as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2015 to 2016 and as a Ph.D. Candidate in Chemical and Biological Engineering at the same university from 2009 to 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant and Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Notre Dame in various capacities. J. Isaac also gained experience in the industry as an Operations Intern at American Electric Power in 2008.

J. Isaac Godfroy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 2009. J. Isaac then pursued a Ph.D. at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2009 to 2015, specializing in Chemical and Biological Engineering. During this time, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
