Matt Wolff

Co-Founder & Chief Scientist at Obsidian

Matt Wolff is a computer scientist who currently serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Scientist at Obsidian. Matt has also served on the Advisory Board for Cylance Inc. and as a Research Assistant for the Experimental Game Laboratory.

Matt Wolff began their career in 2006 as a Computer Scientist for the US Federal Government. In this role, they helped to develop and implement various computer systems and software programs.

In 2012, Matt Wolff joined Cylance Inc. as one of the first handful of employees. In this role, they led the research efforts to bring modern machine learning techniques to the endpoint security space. Matt also helped to grow the company from an idea to a billion dollar exit.

In 2019, Matt Wolff co-founded Obsidian, a company that uses artificial intelligence to help businesses make better decisions. As Chief Scientist, they lead the research and development efforts for the company.

Matt Wolff has a Master's in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's in Music from Loyola University New Orleans. Matt is currently working on their Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

They work with Naresh Chebolu - VP, Data Science, Glenn Chisholm - Co-Founder, Chairman & Chief Product Officer, and Kevin Lee - VP, Marketing. Matt Wolff reports to Hasan Imam, CEO.
