Shannyn B. has worked in a variety of roles since 2002. Shannyn began their career as a Dealer, Craps/Blackjack for Casino Knights, Inc. In 2010, they became a Teaching Assistant for Larry Carlson and their Writing for Electronic Media class at Texas State University-San Marcos. In 2012, they took on a role as Content Marketing Specialist for Austin Bazaar Music, where they were responsible for researching and writing content/copy for listings on a variety of platforms, optimizing content for search engines, and following SEO best practices. In 2016, they became an eCommerce Developer for UPLIFT Desk, where they were in charge of creating new web pages for high-performing sites, utilizing Stencil framework, and reviewing and implementing Cornerstone theme file updates. Currently, they are a Technical Project Manager for obundle.

Shannyn B. obtained their B.A. in Mass Communication-Electronic Media from Texas State University in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained their A.A.S. in Commercial Music Management from Austin Community College in 2008. In October 2020, they also obtained a certification in Web Development from Udemy.
