Neil Smith

Neil Smith has a comprehensive work experience in the field of clinical operations. Neil is currently serving as the Director Clinical Operations APAC at ObvioHealth since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at IQVIA for more than a decade, starting as an Associate Director Clinical Operations in June 2010 and leaving in November 2021. Before IQVIA, Neil held the position of Clinical Operations Manager at PPD from April 2006 to June 2010. Neil also worked at Novartis as a Project Manager and Team Leader from August 2004 to April 2006. Additionally, Neil has experience as a Clinical Team Lead at PRA International, Clinical Research Consultant at Clinical Research Network, Senior Clinical Research Associate at PPD and Ingenix, and Clinical Research Associate at PAREXEL. Neil started their career as a Clinical Research Assistant at Hoechst Marion Roussel.

Neil Smith completed their Bachelor of Science Honors degree at the University of the Witwatersrand from 1989 to 1992. In 2016, they began pursuing a Bachelor of Law degree (Post Graduate Entry) at Swinburne University of Technology, where they are currently studying.
