Julie Hanna is a Senior Advisor at X, the moonshot factory, and a Venture Partner at Obvious Ventures. Julie also serves as the Executive Chair of the Board at Kiva, and as a Board Member at Mozilla. With a background in computer science, Julie has held advisory and board positions at various companies such as Esalen Institute, SYPartners, Socialtext, and Idealab. Additionally, Julie was appointed as the Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship by President Obama. Julie has a strong focus on advancing financial inclusion, creating positive impact businesses, and ensuring a safe and accessible internet for all.
