Alden Smith

Alden Smith has a diverse range of work experience. Alden recently joined OBXtek as a Senior Acquisitions Analyst in September 2022. Prior to this, from October 2020 to September 2022, they worked as a Senior Budget Analyst for Cydecor, Inc. on a private contract for the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations. In this role, they assisted in preparing, submitting, and executing the annual budget for the division of Information Dominance. Additionally, Alden has prior experience in the US Navy. From April 2018 to September 2019, they served as an International Training Officer, leading negotiations and planning for a bi-lateral Amphibious Training Exercise. Alden also served as an Officer in the US Navy from November 2005 to July 2011, with responsibilities including coordinating and funding bi-lateral training and security assistance cooperation in Djibouti and Rwanda.

Alden Smith attended Tulane University School of Architecture from 2016 to 2017, where they pursued a Master's degree in Sustainable Real Estate Development with a focus on Real Estate and Tax-Credit Finance. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University between 2000 and 2004. At Vanderbilt, Alden pursued a double major in Physics and Philosophy.
