Anthony Cardenas

Anthony Cardenas has a diverse work experience in system engineering, vehicle management, and system administration. Anthony currently holds the position of Senior System Engineer at OBXtek since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a System Engineer at General Dynamics Information Technology from March 2021 to May 2022.

Before entering the private sector, Anthony served in the Illinois Air National Guard, where they held roles such as Vehicle Management & Analysis from September 2011 to September 2021, and Fleet Manager from February 2014 to July 2018. These positions involved coordinating maintenance, implementing policies, and ensuring the safety and serviceability of vehicles.

Additionally, Anthony worked as a System Administrator at Enhanced Veterans Solutions, Inc. (EVS) from July 2018 to March 2021.

Anthony Cardenas earned an Associate's degree in Network Design and Administration from Southwestern Illinois College in 2018. Anthony then attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 2018 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology Systems. In terms of certifications, Anthony acquired the CompTIA Security+ ce certification from CompTIA in May 2018, the MTA: Windows Server Administration Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in May 2018, and the Cisco Certified Network Associate certification from Cisco in May 2017.
