Leo Modelski

Contract Instructor Weapon Systems Officer at OBXtek

Leo Modelski has had an extensive work experience in various roles within the aviation industry. Leo started their career in 2009 as Superintendent of AFSOC Marketing and Outreach in the United States Air Force. Leo then served as Superintendent of the Joint Formal Training Unit for Small Unmanned Aerial Systems before becoming an Operations Flight Chief - Evaluator/Instructor Sensor Operator. Leo joined AeroVironment in 2015 as an Air Vehicle Operator II before transitioning to Neurostat Analytical Solutions as a Program Manager. Leo then worked at The Rockhill Group, Inc. as an AC-130U Instructor Sensor Operator and later joined Credence Management Solutions, LLC as a Contract Flight Instructor. In 2018, Leo returned to The Rockhill Group, Inc. in the role of AC-130J Contract Flight Instructor Sensor Operator. Most recently, they joined OBXtek in 2022 as a Contract Flight Instructor.

Leo Modelski attended the Community College of the Air Force, where they pursued a degree in Air and Space Operations. Leo'sstudies focused on Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering Technology/Technician. Leo completed this program in 2007. Later, in 2011, Leo Modelski enrolled at Southwestern College and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Military and Strategic Leadership, with a field of study in Military and Strategic Leadership.
