David Holmes, MS / PMP has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. David is currently employed at OBXtek as a Senior Project Manager, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Mission1st Group, Inc. as a Senior Project Manager from July 2021 to January 2023. From October 2018 to June 2021, they worked at CACI International Inc as a Senior Project Manager. David also served as Deputy PM OCONUS at General Dynamics Information Technology from April 2018 to September 2018. Before joining CACI, they worked at K-C PMC as the Head of Department and C4I Systems Integration from February 2017 to March 2018. From May 2015 to January 2017, they were the Program Management Support Lead at Connected Logistics. Prior to that, they worked at Mission1st Group, Inc. as the Director of Pacific Operations from May 2013 to October 2014 and as a Project/Program Manager from February 2010 to April 2013. David also has experience as an IT Consultant at L3 Technologies from July 2008 to January 2010. David began their career in the US Army in September 1981, serving as a First Sergeant and Senior Telecommunications Chief until March 2008.

David Holmes, MS / PMP has a comprehensive education history and several certifications. David obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Management from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Following this, David pursued a Master of Science Degree in Project and Program Management at Brandeis University - Graduate Professional Studies, completing their studies from 2016 to 2020.

In addition to their formal education, David has obtained various certifications to enhance their professional expertise. David became a Project Management Professional (PMP) in August 2020 through the Project Management Institute. In October 2019, they obtained the Telecommunications Master Engineer Certification from iNARTE. David also holds the Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) certification from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile, acquired in February 2014.

Further expanding their skill set, they became an Interceptor Optical Network Security System Technician in July 2013, certified by Network Integrity Systems. In December 2012, David achieved their Black Belt certification from 6sigmastudy - The global certification body for six sigma certifications. David also obtained certifications as a Certified International Project Manager and a Certified Master Project Manager from the AAPM® American Academy of Project Management® during the same month and year.

David's telecommunications expertise is highlighted by their Telecommunications Master Technician Certification, earned from iNARTE in September 2009. David also holds a Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) certification from The Fiber Optic Association, Inc. (FOA), obtained in June 2007.
