Joanna D. Rossi

Joanna D. Rossi, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a strong background in human resources, with experience spanning across various industries. Most recently, they served as the Head of HR, Americas at Oerlikon, where they were responsible for overseeing HR operations in the region. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of HR, Shared Services at the same company.

Before joining Oerlikon, Rossi worked as the Human Resources Director at Gerflor USA from 2016 to 2019, where they played a crucial role in managing the HR department. Joanna D. also served as the Human Resources Manager at SWISS STEEL USA, Inc. from 2009 to 2016, where they were responsible for HR operations within the organization.

Prior to that, Rossi held the position of Human Resources Manager at Netcom, Inc. from 2008 to 2009, where they contributed to the development and implementation of HR strategies. Joanna D. also worked as the HR Branch Administrator at Butler International, Inc. from 2004 to 2008, where they provided administrative support to the HR department.

Rossi began their career as a Paralegal at a Law Office in 2002, where they gained valuable experience in legal matters. Overall, they bring a wealth of HR expertise and leadership to their roles, making their a valuable asset to any organization.

Joanna D. Rossi, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2002. Joanna D. then pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Roosevelt University, which they completed in 2014.

In addition to their academic achievements, Joanna also holds several professional certifications. Joanna D. obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in December 2014. Furthermore, in January 2015, they acquired the Senior Certified Professional (SHRM - SCP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Prior to these certifications, Joanna obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HRCI in 2009 and the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) from the American Payroll Association in 2010.
