Adam Clarkson

Adam Clarkson is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and team leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Ocado Technology since April 2015, Adam leads a multidisciplinary team focused on enhancing flexibility and quality in the Ecommerce Platform department. Adam’s previous roles at Ocado include Engineering Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer, where contributions to continuous delivery and build automation were pivotal. Prior to Ocado, Adam worked at Durham University as a PhD Researcher, developing expertise in augmented reality systems, and held various roles including Software Engineering Group Project Lead Demonstrator and Programming Demonstrator. Adam also has freelance experience in web design and development and has held positions in IT support and sales technology. Adam possesses advanced degrees in Computer Science, achieving a PhD from Durham University.
