James Dimmock

James Dimmock has a strong background in engineering and software development. James started their career at Ocado as a Software Developer for the Webshop division from November 2008 to March 2011. James then became a Senior Software Developer for the same division from April 2011 to December 2011. From January 2012 to October 2012, James worked as a Team Lead for the Webshop Grocery division. James then transitioned to a Senior Software Developer role in November 2012 and later became a Team Lead for Mobile Systems from January 2014 to August 2014. James took on the role of Development Manager for Mobile Systems and Product Owner for Webshop Grocery from September 2014 to December 2016. From December 2016 to April 2021, James worked as an Engineering Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Engineering, starting in April 2021 at Ocado Technology.

James Dimmock attended Cedars Upper School from 2002 to 2004. After completing high school, they went on to study Computer Science at the University of Southampton from 2004 to 2008, earning a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree.
