Stefan Rotariu

Stefan Rotariu has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Stefan started their career as a Ruby Developer at Sparktech Software LLC in 2011, where they gained experience in full stack development and also learned frontend and DevOps skills. Stefan then joined Luminos Software as a Technical Team Lead in 2015.

In the same year, Stefan joined Endava as a Senior Engineer and played a crucial role in the successful launch of a fintech product for a UK-based client acquired by Mastercard. Stefan'sexceptional technical skills and collaboration helped establish Endava as a trusted partner for ongoing support and technical guidance.

Stefan then worked as a Ruby on Rails Consultant at SkinVision, where they significantly contributed to stabilizing and modernizing their monolithic architecture. Stefan'sefforts resulted in more efficient image analysis for dermatologists and increased detection of skin cancer melanomas.

In 2020, Stefan joined Toptal as a Senior Backend Engineer and later took on the role of Engineering Manager. Stefan led the engineering team in a transformative project that enhanced the sales activities of the SMB and Enterprise sales departments. Despite global turmoil and team disruptions, Stefan successfully launched the project, resulting in a major increase in sales effectiveness.

Currently, Stefan is working as a Web Lead at Occipital starting from 2023.

Stefan Rotariu received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Bucharest, where they studied from 2007 to 2011.
