Jordana Lewis

Director Of Communications at Ocean Conservancy

Jordana Lewis has extensive experience in communications and media relations. Jordana began their career as an Assistant Project Manager at Direct Impact in 2010 and then worked as a Media Consultant at Humanitas Global Development in 2012. In 2011, they joined New Heights Communications as a Manager of Media Relations & Digital Strategy. From 2013 to 2017, Jordana served as the Director of Media at the Moroccan American Center, where they designed and implemented public outreach initiatives. Jordana then transitioned to the role of Communications Manager at Ocean Conservancy in 2017 and eventually became the Senior Communications Manager. In their current position as the Associate Director of Communications, Ocean Plastics at Ocean Conservancy, Jordana has been instrumental in expanding the organization's reach and impact through strategic communications, partnerships, and engagements with major brands, personalities, and institutions.

Jordana Lewis completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Vassar College, which they attended from 2005 to 2009. During their time at Vassar, they also participated in an international program at Sciences Po from 2007 to 2008 and received an International Program Diploma in History. In 2019, they furthered their education by obtaining a Poynter ACES Certificate in Editing from the Poynter Institute, specializing in Writing, General.
