Mark Widger

Mark Widger is a seasoned professional in SCADA and systems engineering with extensive experience in the renewable energy and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Senior SCADA Engineer at OW Ocean Winds since August 2021, Mark oversees SCADA and communication delivery for the Moray West Offshore Windfarm and manages operational requirements for the Moray East windfarm. Prior roles include SCADA and Systems Engineer at SSE Renewables and Process Control Engineer at Subsea 7, where Mark led the controls engineering for advanced subsea tie machines. Mark's foundational experience includes various engineering roles focused on HMI/SCADA software development, as well as a significant tenure in the Royal Air Force where expertise in radar and communication systems was developed. Mark's educational background includes studies at The Open University.
