Courtney Milley

Courtney Milley is a professional in marine affairs with a strong background in conservation and policy advocacy. Currently serving as a Campaign Associate focused on plastics at Oceana since February 2023, Courtney previously held positions as a Policy Intern at both Marine Conservation Institute and Oceana. Earlier experience includes a Research Assistant role at the University of Rhode Island and various educational positions at the Center for Coastal Studies. Courtney's career began with an internship at Atlantic White Shark Conservancy, showcasing a commitment to marine species and ecosystem protection. Courtney holds a Master's degree in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor's degree in Marine Affairs from the University of Miami. Additionally, studies were undertaken at The American University of Rome.
