Douglas Newsom

Douglas Newsom has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in human resources and community outreach roles. Douglas started their career with Acadia Healthcare in 2004 as a Community Liaison Director, leading a team to educate referral sources and track patient progress. In 2012, they moved to Permian Basin Community Centers as a Human Resources Development Coordinator, where they oversaw training requirements and implemented a web-based training program. Douglas joined Oceans Healthcare in 2013 as a Community Resource Director, again leading a team to educate referral sources, track patient progress, and ensure after-care counseling. Douglas later transitioned to Hands of Compassion Home Care, Inc. in 2015 as a Human Resources Manager, before returning to Oceans Healthcare in 2016 as a Human Resources Director.

Douglas Newsom completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mass Communications at The University of Texas Permian Basin from 2001 to 2002.
