Jen Hughes

Jen Hughes possesses extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as the Principal for PreK-8 at Oceanside Unified School District since July 2021. Prior to this role, Jen held various positions including Assistant Principal at Escondido Union High School District, where responsibilities included developing innovative curricula and facilitating professional learning for educators. Jen's international experience includes roles as Director of Learning at the American Community School of Amman, and Professional Development and Assessment Coordinator at the Anglo-American School of Moscow, highlighting a commitment to high-quality curriculum and instruction. Jen began a career as an elementary classroom teacher across multiple districts and has earned a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from Azusa Pacific University.
