Engers Fernandez

As Vice President of Learning, Engers plays a key role in executing the development of the Learning Healthcare system and knowledge management strategy at OCHIN. Prior to his current role, Engers was the Chief Information Officer for SAC Health System, an adjunct professor of health science at Daytona State College, the Executive Director and Chief Technology Officer of NeoEd, and the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Information Officer of iPresent Solutions Inc. With extensive medical training and more than a decade of hands-on administrative experience in the healthcare sector, Engers has a passion for learning and innovation. He has coordinated several technology development projects and academic programs, and has consulted with dozens of prominent organizations in health, technology, and higher education. Engers received his MD from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo and MBA from University of Phoenix.
