Rachel Safra-Zafrany

Rachel Safra-Zafrany has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles in the field of clinical operations and management. Rachel is currently the Director of Clinical Operations at OCON Therapeutics, a position they took on in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at CTNT Clinical Trials Services for seven years, starting as a Clinical Project Manager/Clinical Trial Manager in 2016 and eventually becoming a Clinical Operations Manager & CPM/CTM until 2023. In 2015, they briefly worked at Novartis as a Country Study Manager. From 1998 to 2015, they held various roles at GSK, including Clinical Trials- Country Study Manager and CRA & Senior CRA of global studies. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Clinical Dietitian at Hadassah Ein Kerem MC from 1994 to 1997, where they gained experience in a variety of departments and responsibilities.

Rachel Safra-Zafrany completed a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Nutrition from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1990 to 1993. Rachel then pursued a Master's Degree in Master of Health Administration from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 1995 to 1997.
