Cymonne New

Cymonne New is an experienced communications and marketing professional with a strong background in sports organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Communications and Marketing at Octagon since July 2022, Cymonne previously held the position of Manager of Communications and Marketing at the Minnesota Lynx from May 2021 to July 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Basketball Communications Manager for the Minnesota Lynx, Marketing Communications Coordinator for the Washington Wizards, and Communications Coordinator for the Washington Mystics and Baltimore Brigade. Additional experience includes internships and early career positions with the City of Orlando, Orlando Magic, Kansas City Chiefs, D.C. United, and the Washington Nationals. Cymonne holds a Bachelor of Journalism in Strategic Communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia and dual master's degrees in Business Administration and Sport Business Management from the University of Central Florida.
