Yuchen Jin

Yuchen Jin is a MLSys Engineer at OctoML. Yuchen previously worked as a research intern at ByteDance and Microsoft. Yuchen is also a CS Ph.D. student at the University of Washington.

Yuchen Jin has a passion for building AI systems and has been working in the field for several years. Yuchen has experience with implementing and accelerating distributed training of several DNN models used at ByteDance.

At Microsoft, Yuchen designed and built BlameIt, a tool that automatically localizes the faulty autonomous system (AS) when there is latency degradation between clients and cloud locations. BlameIt is in production deployment at Azure and produces results with high accuracy at low overheads.

Yuchen Jin received their PhD in Computer Science from the University of Washington. Yuchen also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
