Mahdi Hannoun

Mahdi HANNOUN is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in Big Data architecture and consulting. From 2014 to 2017, Mahdi served as a Big Data Architect Consultant for Octopeek, where responsibilities included technical direction for major accounts, while also holding the position of Technical Director at WhatWhere in 2014. Prior to this, Mahdi worked as an Architect and Development Engineer at Supélec in 2013, focusing on the deployment and administration of a big data platform using technologies like Hadoop, Hive, and Java. Between 2003 and 2012, Mahdi contributed to McDonald's France as a Consultant in training and organization, implementing ITIL best practices across 1200 locations, and managing technical projects. Earlier academic roles include research associate positions at institutions such as the Université Jean Monnet and École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, where Mahdi also completed a doctorate in computer technology. Educational qualifications include an engineering degree in computer science from INI and a DEA in computer science from Pierre and Marie Curie University.
