Service Technician

Job Description

Coordination and execution of onsite technical support services of Scada & Controls Systems installed base including related field instrumentations. Responsibility also includes efficiently reporting full life cycle of service execution to Team Lead. The position will require close working relationship with internal and external teams.

Qualifications

BE or Diploma or ITI in Mechanical / Chemical / E&I

Required Skills & Experience:

• Work experience in service of Chemical injection skids.
• Work experience in service of Well head control panels.
• Co-ordination with engineering team in ensuring the service is completed on time.
• Co-ordination with client and internal team to resolve testing issues.
• Working experience in chemical dosing packages, water treatment packages, Oil & Gas skid packages would be preferred.
• Exposure to Saudi Aramco/ADNOC/PDO/Shell/QE Energy company specifications would be considered as added advantage.
• Exposure to international standards for pumps, tanks, piping, valves, etc., is essential.
• Exposure on reading P&ID, skid GA drawings and wiring drawings for testing.
• Familiar with all kinds of equipment, piping, electrical and instrumentations parts of Chemical injection skid and well head control panel.
• Should be able to calibrate instruments using HART communicator.

Soft Skills:

Familiarity in MS-office.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for complete service related activities of Chemical injection skids.
• Responsible for complete service related activities of Well head control panels.
• Must be capable of reading P&ID, skid GA drawings and electrical & instrumentation drawings.
• Identify the scope of work, list of engineering documents deliverables and communicate to other supporting departments.
• Must have of knowledge of the dosing pumps, piping valves, electrical motors and instruments.
• Must prepare the FAT reports and commissioning reports.
• Responsible for resolving the testing issues by coordinating with internal teams.
• Responsible to maintain the required tools & tackle required for testing activity.
• Identify areas of concern with respect to assigned activity and highlight timely manner.
• To perform all tasks required towards the completion of the assigned testing and commissioning activity.
• Must be physically fit to perform onsite testing activities.

Work Environment:

Job will generally be performed in onsite and frequent traveling is required.
