Cassandra George

Cassandra George has held various legal roles throughout their career. Cassandra is currently the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at Ocular Therapeutix, Inc. Prior to this, they worked at Purdue Pharma L.P. for several years, starting as a Counsel in 2004 and advancing to roles such as Associate General Counsel and Head of Regulatory Law. Cassandra also worked as a Senior Counsel at Mundipharma International Limited. Cassandra's legal experience spans over two decades, and they have specialized in healthcare and pharmaceutical law.

Cassandra George's education journey began in 1992 when they enrolled at Seton Hall University. Cassandra studied Accounting and Criminal Justice and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996. Cassandra furthered their education by attending Pepperdine Law, where they pursued a JD degree from 1997 to 2000. Most recently, they attended Yale School of Management in 2017 and 2018, where they completed a program in Executive Management.
