Haoda Gong has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2018, Haoda worked as a Summer Intern at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing, where they updated traceability systems and updated Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) drawings. They also took on leadership responsibilities and gained industrial experience in Mexico.
From 2019 to 2020, Haoda worked at Purdue University as a Research Assistant. They were involved in projects such as designing an ultra-low-cost and portable bio-solution impedance analyzer, automated breast segmentation using deep learning, and developing a fast C++ program for specific absorption rate control. They also worked as a Teaching Assistant and Grader during their time at Purdue University.
In 2021, Haoda had two roles. They worked as a Project Manager at DataFuZion HCM, where they researched and developed a Human Capital Management Knowledge Base. They also served as a Summer Intern at HENGLONG USA CORPORATION, where they redesigned a motor for intelligent/hybrid recirculating-ball steering.
Currently, Haoda Gong is working at Oculii™ (An Ambarella Technology) as a Senior Software Engineer. They are involved in developing RTOS firmwares for a next-generation radar on the Ambarella centralized CV2/3 platform. Additionally, they previously worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at the same company.
Haoda Gong completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University from 2016 to 2020. Following this, Haoda Gong pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science with a specialization in Control System at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, from 2020 to 2022.
