Marni Bobich

Marni Bobich, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-SCP has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Marni'smost recent role was as the Vice President of Human Resources Business Partners at ocV!BE Sports and Entertainment since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at AEG Presents from 2019 to 2023, where they were responsible for implementing effective HR strategies and policies for over 5,000 employees.

From 2018 to 2019, Marni worked as the Director of Human Resources (Corporate) at AEG, where they developed and led corporate human capital strategies and processes. Marni also served as the Director of Human Resources and Payroll at Pitzer College from 2010 to 2018, overseeing all aspects of HR for approximately 1000 employees.

Before that, they worked as an Exam Question Reviewer/Writer for the HR Certification Institute from 2006 to 2013, where they contributed to the development of the California HR Certification Exam. Additionally, they had roles at Insperity (formerly Administaff) as a Team Manager, Human Resources Services from 2004 to 2010, and at Columbia University as an Independent Contractor-COBRA Administrator in 2004.

Marni's earlier experience includes working as a Human Resource Generalist at Columbia University's Biosphere 2 Center, Inc. from 2002 to 2003, and as a Human Resource Coordinator at Credit Suisse First Boston from 1997 to 2002. In these roles, they managed various HR functions, including employee relations, benefits management, recruitment, and training.

Throughout their career, Marni has demonstrated expertise in HR strategy and implementation, employee relations, talent management, and leadership development. Marni holds multiple HR certifications, including SPHR, GPHR, and SHRM-SCP.

Marni Bobich, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Penn State University. Marni also obtained their MBA in Business from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. In addition to their education, Marni has obtained several certifications including the Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI), the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM, and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
