Courtney Drew has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Courtney began their career as a Human Resources Consultant at the Government of Ontario - Ministry of Economic Development and Trade in June 2006 and continued in this role until April 2007.
In April 2007, Courtney joined the Ontario Clean Water Agency as a Human Resources Consultant, where they were responsible for interpreting HR policies, procedures, and legislation for management and staff. Courtney also provided advice and guidance on labor relations issues and offered counseling services to staff on various employment-related topics. Courtney held this position until October 2011.
From October 2011 to December 2012, Courtney worked as a Senior Labor Relations Consultant at the Ontario Clean Water Agency.
In January 2013, Courtney transitioned to the role of HR Business Advisor at the Ontario Clean Water Agency. In this position, they partnered with executive management to implement people strategies that aligned with business goals. Courtney also provided project planning expertise, analyzed business processes, and provided team leadership to HR consultants. Courtney held this role until August 2016.
From August 2016 to January 2019, Courtney served as the Human Resources Director at the Ontario Clean Water Agency. In this senior leadership position, they provided strategic planning, executive advisory services, and oversaw the development of organizational effectiveness strategies. Courtney actively participated in strategic business planning and served as a lead member on the Board of Directors committees and task force.
Most recently, Courtney assumed the role of Vice President of Human Resources in January 2019 at the Ontario Clean Water Agency. In this executive-level position, they continue to provide leadership and direction for HR strategic planning and executive advisory services.

Courtney Drew attended Humber College from 2004 to 2005, where they pursued a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2002, they studied at Queen's University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology.
