Kubilay Eksioglu

Kubilay Eksioglu has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Kubilay began their career as a Software Engineering Intern at Octeth in 2009. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as an R&D Engineer at Yotta Inc., where they designed and led the development of sentiment analysis software for Turkish texts. Kubilay achieved a high accuracy rate of 93% for sentiment detection, the highest at the time for Turkish texts. Kubilay then served as the Chief Technology Officer at Pipo Teknoloji Ltd. from 2010 to 2013, where they contributed to the development of a social Q&A service called Sorula.com.

In 2013, Kubilay joined IMCOM Ltd. as a Software Engineer. During their tenure, they designed and led the development of data layer APIs, and successfully transitioned the rendering server from a monolithic Windows application to Python services on Ubuntu. Their role at IMCOM Ltd. lasted until 2016.

From 2016 to 2018, Kubilay pursued a Master of Science degree at Bilkent University. Their thesis focused on prediction with expert advice, specifically exploring the role of contexts, bandit feedback, and risk-awareness in reinforcement learning. Their research encompassed areas such as multi-armed bandits, statistical analysis, and machine learning.

In 2019, Kubilay joined Acrome as the Chief Technology Officer. Kubilay held this position until 2021, overseeing the technological aspects of the company. In 2021, they joined Staircase as a Product Engineer, where they worked until 2022, contributing to product development.

Currently, Kubilay Eksioglu is serving as the Director of Engineering at Oda Studio, a position they took up in 2022.

Kubilay Eksioglu completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Bilkent University from 2006 to 2010. Kubilay then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University from 2016 to 2018.
