Chester Perez

Chester Perez has over 16 years of experience in information technology and security leadership within the Department of Defense. Chester has held roles such as Chief Information Security Officer, Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, Penetration and Testing Engineer, Information System Security Engineer, and more. Their responsibilities have included overseeing cybersecurity solutions, conducting security testing, and responding to network security events. Perez has also served as an Information Assurance Manager, Leading Petty Officer, and has extensive experience in risk management frameworks and certification authority roles.

Chester Perez obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management from Trident University International from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they studied Computer Engineering at Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (UNI) from 1997 to 2000. Chester also holds multiple certifications in different areas of IT, such as A+, CIW, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Network Defense Architect, Linux +, Network +, and Security +.
