Alexander Lazar

Alexander Lazar has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Alexander began their career in 1997 at HP, where they worked as an IC Designer and Hardware Project Engineer until 1999. Alexander then moved on to Agilent Technologies, where they served as a Strategic Business Planner from 1999 to 2008.

In 2008, Alexander joined ZEISS Microscopy as the Director of Product Segment TEM, a role they held until 2013. Alexander then transitioned to Würth Elektronik Group as the Leitung Technik from 2013 to 2015.

From 2015 to 2021, Alexander worked at Wurth Electronics, where they held two significant positions. Alexander served as the CTO from 2015 to 2017 and then became the CEO from 2018 to 2021.

Most recently, in 2021, Alexander Lazar took on the role of President and CEO at ODU-USA.

Alexander Lazar completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Management with a focus on Research and Development (R&D) Management at the Stuttgart Institute of Management and Technology (SIMT) in 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Integrated Circuit (IC) Design from Ruhr University Bochum in 1997.
