Game Design Lead for Omega Strikers at Odyssey Interactive

Alexander Huang has worked in the gaming industry since 2011. In 2011, they were a Market Research Volunteer Intern at Tencent America. In 2012, they were a Market Research Intern at Tencent America, where they were a resident youth market expert, completing market research projects on Action RPG's and aiding in QA evaluation of in-development games for mobile devices. In 2013, they were a Live Design QA Intern at Riot Games, where they generated new game play ideas and implemented changes for the League of Legends Rengar champion rework, provided QA coverage and analysis on League of Legends through play testing, and fixed and found bugs relating to champion abilities and core game play features. In 2014, they were a Live Gameplay QA Intern at Riot Games, fulfilling QA responsibilities for the Live Gameplay team. In 2015, they were a Game Design Intern at Riot Games, completing design work for League of Legends patches 5.12 - 5.16. From 2016 - 2021, they were a Senior Game Designer, Game Designer, and Associate Game Designer at Riot Games. Currently, they are a Game Design Lead for Omega Strikers at Odyssey Interactive, leading Core Gameplay and Around Game systems design.

Alexander Huang attended the International School of Beijing from 2008 to 2012 and the University of Southern California from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a degree in Computer Science (Games) with a focus in Computer Science and Game Design.
