- From September 2016 to September 2021, Christel Sieling worked at Odyssey as the Director of Operations. During this time, they played a key role in mobilizing a global ecosystem of stakeholders, organizing events, a hackathon, and a business incubation program.

- From April 2016 to October 2016, Christel Sieling was a Project Manager Horizon 2020 at Gemeente Groningen.

- From November 2014 to April 2016, Christel Sieling worked at Gemeente Groningen as a Policy Officer (trainee) in the knowledge economy & innovation department.

Christel then pursued their Master of Arts (MA) in International Relations at the same university from 2012 to 2013. In 2011, they also completed a minor in Communications, Philosophy, and French at Université Saint-Louis - Bruxelles.
