Offchain Labs has developed a suite of scaling solutions for Ethereum. This includes Arbitrum, an Optimistic Rollup, that instantly scales apps, reducing costs and increasing capacity, without sacrificing Ethereum's security. Porting contracts to Arbitrum requires no code changes or downloads since it’s compatible with existing Ethereum developer languages and tooling. Arbitrum today is the leading Ethereum scaling solution with dominant market share including hundreds of apps on the platform and over 40% of all rollup liquidity. Offchain labs also contributes to the Ethereum core protocol with the Prysm consensus client.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Recruitment Manager to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your specialized expertise in workforce planning, recruitment technology, or other specific recruitment domains to set departmental goals, develop strategic plans, and innovate our recruitment methodologies. You will play a critical role in refining our existing processes, collaborating with your team to streamline the recruitment lifecycle, and closely monitoring and reporting on recruitment metrics. Your leadership will be vital in managing and nurturing the professional growth of your team, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to excel.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies aligned with the unique needs of the crypto and blockchain industry.
  • Lead workforce planning initiatives to ensure the company’s talent needs are met in this fast-paced, innovative sector.
  • Utilize advanced recruitment technologies and methodologies to enhance the recruitment process, specifically tailored to attract top talent in blockchain and cryptocurrency.
  • Set departmental goals and metrics to measure the success of recruitment strategies.
  • Innovate and implement best practices in recruitment to attract top crypto and blockchain talent.
  • Continuously refine and optimize existing recruitment processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to identify and implement strategies that reduce time-to-fill for open positions.
  • Monitor key recruitment metrics and analytics, providing detailed reports and insights to senior leadership to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Work closely with other Talent Acquisition team members and other departments, like HR & Finance, to ensure alignment with broader company objectives in the crypto space.
  • Analyze recruitment data and trends to proactively address challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Mentor and guide the recruitment team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Manage and lead a team of recruitment professionals, providing clear direction, support, and growth opportunities.
  • Oversee the professional development of team members, creating and implementing individualized growth plans to ensure their success.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in the recruitment process.
  • Represent the company at industry-specific recruitment events, enhancing the organization's employer brand and building strong relationships with potential candidates and recruitment partners.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in recruitment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within the crypto or tech industry.
  • Specialized expertise in workforce planning, recruitment technology, or a specific recruitment domain related to crypto and blockchain.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies in the crypto or tech industry.
  • Strong goal-setting and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to innovate and implement advanced recruitment methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of current recruitment practices and trends in the crypto industry.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with recruitment software and Applicant Tracking Systems like Lever.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing a team, with a focus on performance management and professional growth.
