Annelie Maré has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Annelie started their career as an intern at 24.com in 2010. Annelie then worked as a journalist at Die Burger (Media24) from 2010 to 2013, where they covered environmental affairs and worked as a multimedia journalist and general reporter.

From 2014 to 2018, they held the position of Head of Operations at SnapScan, where they managed daily operations, support services, and backoffice procedures, as well as coordinated public relations and marketing efforts. Annelie also led the operational and customer service teams.

In 2019, Annelie took a travel sabbatical to India and Nepal before joining 2U as a B2B Operations Manager for a brief period. Annelie then joined OfferZen as a Talent Advisor Team Lead in 2019 and progressed within the company, becoming the Head of Talent Operations in 2020.

Annelie's next role at OfferZen was the VP of Marketplace, where they were responsible for the global talent marketplace's overall strategy and the improvement of processes. Annelie then became the VP of Customer Success, overseeing both the Account Management and Talent Advisor functions and playing a crucial role in OfferZen's revenue growth and expansion.

Throughout their career, Annelie has demonstrated expertise in operations management, customer service, talent operations, and marketplace strategy.

Annelie Maré completed their Matric degree in 2004 at Collegiate Girls' High School. During their time there, they studied subjects such as Afrikaans, English, French, Biology, Maths, and Science.

Annelie went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree at Stellenbosch University from 2005 to 2008. Annelie'sfield of study included Political Science, Philosophy, Economics, and French.

In 2009, Annelie Maré briefly attended Stellenbosch University again, where they earned a BPhil degree in Journalism.

Annelie Maré furthered their education at the University of Cape Town from 2013 to 2016. Annelie obtained a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Public Policy and Administration.
