Andrew Higginbottom

Andrew Higginbottom serves as the Communications Coordinator at the Office of the Comptroller of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since February 2023. Previously, Andrew held the role of Marketing and Communications Assistant for the City of Boston from April 2019 to January 2023, and worked as a Marketing and Communications Intern with the United States Tennis Association in 2018. Andrew began a career in journalism as a Sports Correspondent for Boston Globe Media, covering a wide geographic area, and gained experience as an Editorial Intern and Freelance Reporter for GateHouse Media. Early in the career, Andrew contributed as a Staff Writer for BSU Life and as a Sports Writer for BSU Comment while pursuing education. Andrew earned a Master of Science in Corporate and Organizational Communication with a concentration in Leadership from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Bridgewater State University.
