Emma Louise Russell has accumulated work experience in various roles and companies. In 2013, they started working as a Customer Service Representative at The Money Shop UK and stayed in the position until 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Customer Telephony Advisor at Santander Consumer (UK) plc. Following that, they joined Travelex in 2017 as a Travel Money Advisor and later became a Bureau Manager from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, they worked as a Foreign Exchange Consultant at Barrhead Travel Group for a short period. From 2020 to 2022, they worked at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, first as a Group Operations Apprentice and then as an HR Services Officer. Emma is currently employed at Ofgem, where they have held the positions of Human Resources Coordinator and HR Systems Improvement Co-ordinator since 2022.

Emma Louise Russell began their education in 2015 at New College Lanarkshire, where they obtained a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Music. Emma Louise then furthered their studies at the same institution and completed a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Music from 2015 to 2017. Emma continued their education at the University of the West of Scotland from 2017 to 2019, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Commercial Music.
