Leo Franco

Leo Franco has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. Leo currently works at EDF (UK) as a Senior Portfolio Analyst, where they have been since October 2022. Prior to this role, they were a Portfolio Analyst at the same company from August 2021 to October 2022. Leo also has experience as a Data Policy Manager at Ofgem from August 2020 onwards. Before that, they worked at Bulb as an Energy Specialist from October 2019 to August 2020, gaining knowledge of UK retail and wholesale energy markets and developing a bill calculation tool in MS Excel. In 2018, Leo had two different positions. Leo worked as an MSc Thesis - Sustainable Energy Technology at Delft University of Technology, where they focused on passivation in IBC with poly-Si(Ox) passivating contacts. Leo also worked as a Solar Engineering Intern at EXASUN - Solar module manufacturer in The Netherlands, optimizing the front metalization grid for an MWT PERC solar cell. From 2015 to 2017, Leo was a Lead Data Analyst and later a Data Analyst & Assistant Exams Officer at Sydenham High School GDST, where they led the Data team and provided analysis of attendance and academic trends. Lastly, Leo was involved in Organizational Development at NHSBromley_CCG in 2015, overseeing educational events for general practice staff and managing practice finances.

Leo Franco completed their Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of Leeds in 2014. Leo then pursued their Masters in Sustainable Energy Technology from Delft University of Technology, which they completed in 2019.
