Jessica Apellaniz

Chief Creative Officer, Latin America at Ogilvy

Jessica Apellaniz is the current Chief Creative Officer for Latin America at Ogilvy. Jessica has over 19 years of experience in the advertising industry, starting their career as an assistant director at MTV Latin America in 2000. In 2002, they became a junior copywriter at TERAN\TBWA before moving to Olabuenaga Chemistri as a senior copywriter in 2004. Jessica then spent 13 years at Publicis, eventually becoming VP Creative in 2017. Jessica left Publicis in November of that year to join Ogilvy & Mather México as VP Creative Services, a position they held until December 2019. Jessica has won numerous awards throughout their career, including a Grand Prix at Cannes Lions in 2015 and a Gold Clio in 2016.

Jessica Apellaniz has a degree in Communication from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México. Jessica also has a degree from Centro Escolar del Tepeyac and Colegio Williams.

Jessica Apellaniz reports to Horacio Genolet, Chief Executive, Latin America. They work with Fernando Musa - Chief Executive, Brazil, Ranjiv Ramgolam - Chief Strategy Officer, Latin America, and Nonora Elmudesi - CEO, Ogilvy Dominicana.
