Angela also had an internship at Chetelat Lab in 2014, assisting in research on pollen self-incompatibility factors in Solanum species and cultivated tomatoes.

In addition to their work in the plant biology field, Angela has experience in administrative roles. Angela worked as an Advisor Services Administrative Assistant at Loring Ward in 2013, where they provided quality control and administrative support. Angela also worked as a Tutor/Assistant at Kumon from August 2011 to September 2012.

Angela P. completed their bachelor's degree in International Agricultural Development with a minor in Landscape Restoration from the University of California, Davis in the period between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they attended the College of San Mateo from 2009 to 2012 but did not obtain a degree, focusing on completing the IGETC program.

In addition to their formal education, Angela P. has obtained several certifications in data analysis and visualization. Angela completed courses such as "Data Analysis with R Programming," "Share Data Through the Art of Visualization," "Analyze Data to Answer Questions," "Process Data from Dirty to Clean," "Ask Questions to Make Data-Driven Decisions," "Prepare Data for Exploration," and "Data, Data, Everywhere" through Coursera. These certifications were obtained between April and December of 2022.
