Bongiwe Ndlovu has a diverse work experience in project management and leadership roles. Bongiwe currently works at F/A/Q as a Project Manager. Prior to that, they served as a Project Lead, Deputy Africa Lead, and Regional Coordinator at the same company. In 2023, they joined the ohhh! Foundation as a Project Manager focusing on Health Literacy in Southern Africa. In 2015, Bongiwe co-founded the Youth Making Local Government Work Campaign, aiming to enhance youth involvement in local governance and citizenry. Bongiwe also worked as a Capacity Building Manager at Siyashesha Leadership Incubator, where they supported the growth of young leaders. Bongiwe's freelance work involved event coordination and training for organizations such as the Department of Community Safety and Gauteng Enterprise Propeller. Bongiwe also held roles of Senior Coordinator and Capacity Building Coordinator at Siyashesha Leadership Incubator and acted as the Health Sector Coordinator for the Activate! Change Drivers program.

Bongiwe Ndlovu's education history begins in 1998 when they attended George Campbell School of Technology and obtained a Senior Certificate with Distinction in General Studies in 2002. In 2005, they pursued a Credit Management Certificate from EDCON. Bongiwe then participated in the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) in 2016, completing the Civic Leadership program as a graduate of Cohort 5. In 2019, Bongiwe began studying at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Sciences & Social Services, which is expected to end in 2024. Additionally, Bongiwe completed a NQF Level 5 Community Development Certificate Course in Human Development and Family Studies, General at Seeta. Bongiwe is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce program with a focus on Project Management at MANCOSA, expected to finish in 2023. Bongiwe also obtained a certification in Young African Leaders Initiative Civic Leadership from the University of South Africa in September 2016.
