Katie Smith

Katie Smith is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in political settings. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Advisor for the Ohio Democratic Party since January 2024, Katie previously held the role of Communications Director in the U.S. House of Representatives from January 2023 to January 2024. Additional roles include Press Secretary in the Office of U.S. Representative Susan Wild and Press Assistant for Susan Wild's congressional campaign. Katie also served as Deputy Digital Director for the New Hampshire Democratic Party and interned in the United States Senate and with Lizzie Pannill Fletcher's congressional campaign. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Dartmouth College.
