Shawn Parker

Shawn Parker has a diverse work experience in the field of sports coaching, primarily in soccer. Shawn started their career in 2009 at Northern Kentucky University, where they worked as a Men's soccer camp staff, helping manage boys high school I.D. camps.

In 2012, they joined Ohio Elite Soccer Academy as a Staff coach and remained in this position until 2014. During this time, they also worked at Turpin High School as the Junior Varsity Head Coach and Goalkeeper coach from 2013 to 2013.

In 2013, Shawn Parker joined Coerver Coaching as a Coerver coaching instructor. Shawn also worked as a Staff Coach at Ohio Premier Eagles Soccer Club starting from 2014.

Shawn Parker's coaching experience extends beyond soccer. Shawn worked as a Varsity Head Coach for boy's soccer at Liberty Union High School from June 2014 to October 2014. Additionally, they have experience as a Youth Development Specialist at the YMCA of Central Ohio, where they started in October 2014.

Shawn Parker briefly worked as an ODP District Coach in Columbus, Ohio, from October 2014 to November 2014. Shawn also worked as a Health and Wellness Coach at the YMCA from January 2014 to June 2014.

Overall, Shawn Parker has gained extensive experience in sports coaching, particularly in soccer, and has worked with various organizations, schools, and clubs throughout their career.

Shawn Parker completed a Master's degree in Recreation and Sport Sciences with a specialization in Soccer Coaching from Ohio University, from 2013 to 2015. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Sociology from Northern Kentucky University, graduating in 2013. In 2012, Shawn received a National diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Additionally, they obtained various soccer coaching certifications, including a Coerver Coaching Youth diploma in 2014 and a Goalkeeper Diploma from the National Soccer Coach Association of America in 2013. Shawn also holds an Advanced National Diploma from the National Soccer Coach Association of America, acquired in 2013. In 2011, they obtained a US Soccer E License from the Kentucky Youth Soccer Association.
