Susan Merryman

Susan Merryman, APR, currently serves as Vice President of Marketing Communications at OhioHealth since May 2014. Previously, Susan was Vice President of Marketing and Communications and Chief of Staff at Capital University from January 2012 to May 2014, and served as Vice President of Marketing and Communications at the Columbus Chamber of Commerce from 2004 to 2011. In this role, Susan focused on enhancing the Chamber's reputation, assisting members in utilizing resources, and promoting Columbus for business attraction and economic development. Additionally, Susan was an Adjunct Professor at Otterbein College from 2000 to 2010, guiding senior-level public relations students through case study discussions. Prior roles include Vice President at Edward Howard from June 2001 to November 2004, and Manager of Employee Communications at UUNET from 1999 to 2001. Susan holds a BA in Public Relations, English, Speech Communication, and Business from Otterbein University and an MBA in Business from the University of Dayton.
