Tomoya Yoshizawa

Tomoya Yoshizawa has over 16 years of work experience in various roles within the automotive industry. Tomoya started their career at Honda R&D Co., Ltd. as a Design Engineer from 2005 to 2010. Tomoya then moved to Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) where they worked as a Design Engineer from 2010 to 2013, focusing on chassis and body parts design for MotoGP machines.

In 2014, Tomoya joined BMW Group as a Quality Engineer, responsible for supplier quality engineering for motorcycle gearbox, suspension, brake parts, and other mechanical components. Tomoya ensured compliance with BMW Group standards and ISO/TS-16949.

In 2016, Tomoya joined Öhlins Racing AB as an R&D Engineer, contributing to the development and industrialization of dampers for Volvo projects. Tomoya later became the Team Leader for R&D Automotive OEM, managing projects for the Volvo/Polestar line of cars. In January 2021, they were promoted to Project Manager, overseeing various projects.

Tomoya also has entrepreneurial experience, as they founded LIV INNOVATION in 2018. The company specialized in recruiting Japanese professionals for the Swedish automotive and electronics industries, providing assistance with integration into Swedish society.
